Moving TelePacific’s Cisco network elements from direct manufacturer support through a partner vendor to an unrelated third party provider was, in theory, frightening. However having been taught that many times fear is only, “false evidence appearing real,” I green lighted the opportunity and I have never regretted making the decision. As Director of Internet Operations I am responsible for every bit and byte that traverses TelePacific’s network and that means maintaining 99.999% network uptime for our customers. Hardware failures occur as do software bugs and when these unfortunate situations become customer impacting and our technical staff needs to escalate to a support provider Multiven has answered the call every time. Multiven gives us the additional technical knowledge we need to resolve these issues quickly significantly reducing the impact to TelePacific customers. I am extremely pleased with the efforts of Multiven’s engineers, management, and all the support people we have worked with developing this relationship. I look forward to a continued high level of support from Multiven for years to come.
